Life on Board
The magic of private chartering a gulet is
about enjoying your time with people of your
choice (your family, friends) indulging and
pampering yourself with personal service,
gourmet meals, absolute relaxation, full
housekeeping and a very flexible itinerary.
While
on board, you could lounge in the shade on
the aft or forward deck to sunbathe, sip
your favorite drink, read your favorite
novel, swim in the crystal clear waters,
explore the turquoise deep with your snorkel
or
chat with friends and family.
We cruise (under convenient circumstances
sail) to fascinating destinations in Turkey
and Greece, prepare gourmet Aegean -
Mediterranean cuisine
and take extremely good care of you.
If you would like, you can also do some land
trips and visit plenty of ancient ruins en
route.
For instance, it may be an enriching
experience to explore
the traditional Turkish villages in Gokova
Gulf, hike in pristine pine forests around
Marmaris
and shop in the local fresh markets of
Bodrum and Gocek.
We will make sure you set off in the right
direction…
Due to the relaxed, expedition-like nature
of cruising, meal times and anchorage points
can change, based on weather and other
conditions. We will announce meal times
each day and you can remain assured that all
meals will be a great time of entertainment
with all that exquisite Turkish cuisine and
wonderful conversations.
For instance, having dinner under the stars,
with your beloved ones is a memorable
experience not to be missed. Since fishing
tackle is available on board, you can even
fish for your supper and we will be glad to
cook it for you as per your preferences.
Briefly, for those who prefer to spend
each day differently and who are well
prepared for the changing moods of Mother
Nature, a “gullet holiday” is the perfect
adventure.
Clothing On Board
For your cruising journey, you would
definitely need casual clothing; non slip
foot wear, swimming suit, t-shirts and
shorts, sun hats, sun glasses, sun oil,
camera, battery, a sweater for cool evenings
and blue jeans or casual pants along with
appropriate footwear for any land excursions
and hikes.
Baggage Storage On Board
Instead of one large suitcase which would
hardly be put in the cabin, we recommend
that you bring two or three smaller,
preferably soft bags as they are more
convenient to store. Each cabin has several
drawers for storing your clothing and other
personal items. Aside from the drawers,
there is very little storage in cabins, and
there is no storage for baggage outside of
cabins. This is why we highly recommend
bringing a soft-sided suitcase, collapsible
duffel with wheels or at least something
that can be emptied and made flat as your
one piece of checked luggage to facilitate
easier storage in your cabin.
Shoes On Board & Other Necessary Info
Please kindly be informed that we do not
allow shoes on board, except for sandals on
outside decks. No pointed heels are allowed
on deck. Bare feet or socks are allowed
below deck as a safety measure to keep dirt
and water, which can be slippery, out of the
interior of the boat. There is typically a
box or area on deck where sandals/shoes can
be stored.
Please also do not forget to bring your
bath towels and personal sanitary. The
gentlemen who would not want to grow a
holiday beard would need a battery operated
razor. A shaving soap would also be
necessary. As we have already informed you
under the title “technical information”,
electrical appliances may only be connected
while the engines are running or when the
yacht is tied up to land.
